A little bonus post here. This was written as part of a challenge for Desert Bus 6 to write a 5o word story with the theme “50 shades of tetris”. If it makes you giggle, why not head on over to watch some of the marathon and help the children.

50 Shades of Tetris

The pressure was building, only seconds left before the final peak.

Then, a long straight shaft slid perfectly into the waiting passage, connecting in a moment of glorious release and flashing lights.

As things settled it became clear it would be the first of many before the ultimate rocket launch.
